Geodetic points (FPDS)
The «Control point data service» provides a working data base. In addition, the information is available to third parties in a public access data base on the Internet.
- Control points
The «Control point data service» ( FPDS ) provides a working data base at swisstopo with direct access to the surveying authorities of the cantons and to swisstopo for the central administration of the control points used in national surveying and in the official cadastral survey (categories 1 and 2). Updates of these control points are carried out directly on the working data base either by swisstopo for points of the permanent networks (AGNES, EUREF) and of the national surveying networks (LFP1, HFP1), or by the cantonal authorities for updates of points in category 2 (LFP2, HFP2).

In addition, the information is available to third parties in a public access data base on the Internet. For this application, an exctract from the working data base is accessible through the FPDS data viewer.

The data base of the Control Point Data Service (FPDS) is presently «under construction». The data are therefore not available for the entire country.
