Air navigation obstacle data

Cycle of updates: every two weeks

The aeronautical obstacle data is being made available in connection with a joint pilot project involving swisstopo and the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA).

The data covers aeronautical obstacles in accordance with Article 59 ff. of the Ordinance on Aviation Infrastructure dated 23rd November 1994 (VIL; SR 748.131.1). The information on obstacles is obtained through a reporting procedure (VIL, Articles 59 and 63 ff.) and is based on details supplied under this reporting procedure by the owners of the relevant obstructions or by those responsible for reporting such obstructions.

The quality of the data corresponds to that of the Swiss aeronautical obstacle map at 1:100 000 scale.

New: Import of air navigation obstacles data in Swiss Map online possible.

• Whole dataset with actual status.

• New data are available every 14 days and can be directly downloaded. It does not take place automatic report, if new data are available.
