Landscape Models

Landscape models display objects of the landscape in a flexible vector format. They consist of thematic layers (e.g. traffic). Each layer comprises georeferential objects in a point, line or polygone form. Each object has attributes and relations.

swissTLM3D

swissTLM3D is the large-scale topographical landscape model of Switzerland. It includes both natural and artificial landscape features, as well as name data in vector form. With a high accuracy and the incorporation of a third dimension, swissTLM3D is the most extensive and accurate 3D vector data set of Switzerland.

swissBUILDINGS3D

swissBUILDINGS3D 1.0 describes building volume bodies without roof shape across Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein and corresponds to a simple 3D city model.

swissBOUNDARIES3D

Extract of swissBOUNDARIES3D

swissBOUNDARIES3D contains all national, cantonal, district and municipality limits of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein in vector form. The product is based on an optimized data model for Switzerland and conforms to the data of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office. swissBOUNDARIES3D replaces the GG25 dataset from 2010 onwards.

SwissNames is the most extensive and most detailed compilation of Swiss toponymy data. The product contains all the names given on the National Mapping (NM) series from 1:25 000 to 1:500 000 scale

VECTOR25 is the digital landscape model of Switzerland. Content and geometry is based on the National Map 1:25 000.
