What is a "map tile"?

The 8 sections of Swiss Map Mobile

Since version 1.1 it is possible to download automatically map tiles of a selected perimeter. Tap on the map and hold in order to open the menu. Now select the desired perimeter.

Automatic downloading of whole sections is available since version 2.0. Further information see above "Version 2.0".
