The product Swiss Map Mobile integrates the Swiss national maps with your Windows Mobile PDA – from precise and detailed with the most accurate topographic map of swisstopo to the clear 1:1 million map.

Thanks to the integrated GPS receiver, Swiss Map Mobile on the Windows Mobile PDA provides the indication of the actual position (including Moving Map function) and the recording of waypoints and routes.

NEW: Search for geographic place names, revised and 64-bit compatible installer as well as several corrections and optimizations.

Cartographic map material for CHF 89.00 per section

The sections include the software Swiss Map Mobile and the map data. Each section contains the Swiss national maps 1:500 000 and 1:1 million of the entire Switzerland as well as 1:25 000 and 1:100 000 for the surface covered by the section (division of the sectors as in Swiss Map 25). Buying the application in the toposhop is very simple. After successful completion of the purchase, download the installation package, connect your PDA with your Windows computer (USB port and cable required) and start the installation. An assisted procedure will help you to install Swiss Map Mobile on your PDA or on the appropriate memory card.

Data transfer and costs

The maps of Swiss Map Mobile Windows Mobile Edition are stored on the internal memory of the PDA or on a memory card which is plugged into the PDA, so they are available even if there is no mobile phone network. Thanks to this system, the data transfer via the mobile network is not required.
