Digital General Maps and Municipality Map of Switzerland

The original data for the General Map at the scales 1:1 million and 1:2 million is derived from the basis data of swisstopo. The data are structured in layers. Basically these are cartographic data and not data for Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

The digital General Map of Switzerland is an excellent basis for desktop applications. It is suitable for small thematic maps, printed matter for business applications, large-scale planning and presentations.
