swipos-PP is available all over Switzerland. The mean distance from an arbitrary location to the next AGNES station is about 30 km. The data may be downloaded from single AGNES stations or as a “virtual reference station (VRS)”. In the case of VRS the user has to specify the approximate position.
swipos-PP
For applications with enhanced accuracy needs the service swipos-PP makes available the required reference data as files on the swipos web interface. These data may then be processed together with the local observation data using geodetic software packages, where the resulting accuracy is on the millimeter to centimeter level.

Equipment
The use of swipos-PP requires an internet access in order to download the data files from the swipos webserver. In addition a geodetic software is needed, in order to process the baselines. Such software packages are available from all major GNSS receiver manufacturers.
