REFRAME

Software for the transition of reference frames in position and/or height for applications in the Swiss national survey and in the cadastral survey with highest accuracy requirements.

The simultaneous transformation of several files with unlimited number of points respectively objects is possible.
For the automation of large calculations REFRAME has also a command-line mode, which is suitable for the batch processing (batch mode).

Raster data transformation

  • Transformation of the metadata (georeferencing) - no resampling
  • 3 transformation methods:
    • Individual (1 image)
      => relative to the center of the image
    • Local mosaic (high resolution) 
      => relative to the center of gravity of an image mosaic
    • Mosaic with a large extension (low resolution)
      => constant translation of 2'000'000 / 1'000'000
  • Optionally the translation can be rounded to entire pixels
  • The picture is not completely loaded into RAM => high speed
  • Accuracy values are displayed: residuals in the image corners, maximum distorsion (in meters and pixels)
