The UN, the Swiss Air Force, the Federal Office of the Environment, the Swiss Mobile Foundation, NAGRA or National Cooperative for the Storage of Radioactive Waste and the Federal Office of Statistics: what could all these organisations possibly have in common? The answer is that, during the course of 2010, they all made use of swisstopo’s services and geo-data. “swisstopo helps” is the catchphrase chosen for our 2010 Annual Report. Having been the main focus of the last two editions, our clients once again are taking centre stage. From subjects as diverse as swisstopo’s involvement following the earthquake in Haiti, the storage of nuclear waste or the names of the communes, there will be plenty to pique your interest.
