- Operation and maintenance of the automatic GPS network for Switzerland (AGNES) as the basis for land surveying, for scientific applications and for the swipos positioning service
- Supply of positioning services (swipos) covering all of Switzerland at a range of accuracies for applications in navigation, GIS data collection and land surveying
- Operation of the control point data service in collaboration with the Geodetic Control Points Section and the Cantons
- Processing and supply of data and online geodetic computations on the national survey datum via the Internet (Online web services) and supply of related publications
- Operation of the Geodetic Service Centre as a central point of contact within Geodesy Division for all relations with customers
