The goal and purpose of military geography (MilGeo) is to meet the geodata requirements of the armed forces. MilGeo produces military-thematic maps and geodata in both analogue and digital form and places these at the disposal of armed forces and administration. These include for instance thematic maps on military training areas, height models, aerial and satellite pictures for portraying the situation.
