The Swiss national surveying network is integrated into continental (ETRF) and global (ITRF) reference frames by means of GPS campaigns.
Five points from the LV95 network were integrated into the EUREF GPS Campaign:

The Geostation Zimmerwald is a station of the EUREF Permanent Network (EPN). In addition, swisstopo processes a subnetwork of the EPN whose results are generated on a daily basis. The EPN is integrated into the international networks of the International GNNS Service (IGS). This differentiation guarantees that the Swiss network is compatible to the European and international networks with a cm accuracy.
These activities are coordinated by EUREF. Mr Elmar Brockmann, Head of Geodetic Bases and Permanent Networks, is a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) of EUREF.
