Update of a municipal boundary in swissBOUNDARIES3D

Due to a boundary mutation between the municipalities of Kloten and Nürensdorf, swisstopo has updated the affected boundary in the product swissBOUNDARIES^3D.

Exchange of territory in the canton of Zurich

In the canton of Zurich, an exchange of territory between the municipalities of Kloten and Nürensdorf took place on the 1st of January 2024. The canton announced this change to swisstopo in January, after the annual publication of swissBOUNDARIES^3D. We have now updated swissBOUNDARIES^3D (Data status 01.01.2024) with the modified boundary. The data can be downloaded free of charge from the swissBOUNDARIES^3D website or consulted at map.geo.admin.ch.
