General Maps of Switzerland

Municipality Map
The Municipality Map includes all administrative boundaries of Switzerland: municipality, district and canton boundaries can be displayed as layers as desired. It is available as a GeoPDF.
Canton Maps
The Canton Maps show the cantonal areas of Switzerland with or without colouring. They are available as GeoPDF and GeoTIFF.
Relief Map
The Relief Map is available as a pure relief map or supplemented with a little geographical information such as places or roads as a GeoTIFF.
General Map
The General Map contains different thematic layers such as roads, waters, borders or places. It is available as a GeoPDF.
Tips for displaying the general maps in PDF format
The PDFs of the maps can be displayed individually by showing and hiding the different layers.
- Open the downloaded PDF with a PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader).
- Open the page menu if it is not visible.
- Click on the layer symbol to get a list of the layers, which you can now show or hide.
