• What can I expect during the apprenticeship?

  • Up to 20 apprentices 
  • market-oriented remuneration
  • 7 weeks of vacation per year
  • Working hours: 8 hrs 18 mins per day, 41.5 hrs per week
  • Training locations: Swiss Federal of Office of Topography swisstopo in Wabern, vocational school in Zurich
  • Excursion with all apprentices of swisstopo and DDPS apprentice camp

• What further training is available after the apprenticeship?

  • Geomatics technician with Swiss Federal Specialist Certificate
  • Bachelor of Science FHNW in Geomatics
  • Master of Science ETH in Geomatics

• Can I do a trial at swisstopo?

  If you are interested in geomatic training and tasks, you can participate in an afternoon information session together with your parents. This first step will give you a personal impression; if you are interested, you can complete a two-day trial apprenticeship.
