Geological Maps

The Geological Atlas of Switzerland 1:25'000 provide detailed information on the uppermost sedimentary and bedrock layers/units.

Various different geological and tectonic maps at scales from 1:25'000 to 1:100'000 supplement the information given in the Geological Atlas of Switzerland 1:25'000 and the GeoMaps 500.

The GeoMaps 500 are a series of geological, tectonic, hydrogeological, geophysical and palaeoglaciological overview maps of Switzerland at a scale of 1:500'000.
